Mezzanine Project of the Month for Panel Built

October’s 2020 Panel Built Project of the Month was recently awarded to Stein Service & Supply for an overhead warehouse office sold through John Mayo. As part of the project, many Panel Built structures were used, including the warehouse mezzanine, stair systems, and modular offices. An additional 360 square feet of workspace was included as part of the open, elevated office space.

There are several windows on three sides of the building that provide a good view of the surrounding warehouse space. The facility also used pre-configured modular wiring for a fast, efficient warehouse installation.

The project all came together when we met with the company’s local operations manager for a tour of the facility. During the tour, the manager showed us where the mezzanine office would be built. The company wanted the office to have a complete view from the entire upper office all the way over to the facility’s large distribution center, and they also wanted some small storage space underneath.

Per the customer’s request, the mezzanine office was designed. The approval drawings were finalized with no issues. Panel Built, the manufacturer, was able to ship out the required products quickly.

The Stein crew was able to start on the project immediately, as they had just finished a project for another client. Stein assisted with the unloading and staging of the materials, and the next day, the installation crew went straight to work on the mezzanine office. Several days later, they finished the office along with the extra storage space, to the customer’s exact specifications. In less than a week, the project was completed.

The customer was nothing but smiles after they saw the new office space for themselves. They could not believe how smoothly the project went, or how fast the work was completed.
