Meet the Team

Kristen began her material handling career over twenty years ago when she was lured by all the glitz and glamour of the industry. After spending several years as an allied specialist for a forklift dealer, she joined Stein in 2001 as Sales Territory Manager. Steve Stein remembers this time as “the worst time in the economy to hire personnel”, but Kristen insisted she would be an asset to the company and Steve finally relented. In 2005, Kristen was promoted to Operations and Inside Sales Manager so Steve would have more time to improve his golf game. By 2014, Kristen was ready for a life change and moved to Greensboro, NC where she now manages new outside business development. Outside of work, Kristen loves music, going to the gym, and lake weekends.

Todd started in the material handling industry in 1996. He has worked in sales and systems design, and also has installation experience. He started with Stein in January of 2009. Todd is very detail oriented, so he enjoys being in the field collecting data and creating CAD drawings for projects. He also appreciates the installation aspect of the job, as it allows him to see a project that was once only on paper becoming a reality. Speaking of paper, Todd prints everything and stores it all in his house, which has to be a fire hazard. Outside of work, Todd likes spending time with his son and fishing, and he is obsessed with fantasy football.

Beth was born in Buffalo, NY. She decided to go on a weekend road trip to Charlotte back in 2005 and spontaneously got a job and an apartment. She worked in the running industry until 2018, when she decided to make the very smart decision and join the Stein family. Off the clock, she spends her time reading, listening to music, and hanging out with her dog. At all times, she has three things near her: snacks, a book, and more snacks.

John was born in Charlotte, N.C. and raised in Hickory, N.C. After serving in the United States Air Force, John began his career in the material handling industry in a forklift dealership in 1992. He turned his focus and started concentrating on storage solutions, mezzanine, warehouse offices, and dock equipment. In 2019 he joined Stein Service and Supply. John now lives in Greensboro, N.C. and enjoys times with his adult children and his best mate, a black lab named Goose. John enjoys traveling, all things outdoors, basketball and anything related to UNC Tar heels. His latest hobby is teaching himself how to play the guitar.

Cindy started working at Stein in December of 2016. Her role at Stein is Inside Sales and Customer Service. She previously worked as Customer Service Manager for a fire extinguisher manufacturer, and has over 20 years of experience in Customer Service. She lives in Kings Mountain with her English Bull Dog, ironically named “Kitty”. Cindy is addicted to Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee!!

Cina was born in California, came to the Carolinas in the 90s, and began working at Stein in 2021. Her name often eludes customers, but she is quite flexible and will answer to Xena (Warrior Princess), Sia (Entertainer), or Zima (Zomething Different). The bulk of her career has been spent in the material handling space, with roles spanning marketing, sales, and account management. Away from the office, Cina enjoys music, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Kyle was born and raised in Charlotte, N.C. He has 7 years experience as an installer, which aids in one of his current roles as installation manager. He has great attention to detail and is a firm believer in measure twice, cut once. Kyle still enjoys working with his hands by rebuilding motorcycles.

Stephanie started working at Stein in June of 2016. Her role includes managing the current shipments and orders. Prior to accepting a position at Stein, she worked as a bartender and for a logistics company. Stephanie still keeps up with bartending every so often. When she isn’t working, she loves to cook and has attempted to garden several times without success. She also drinks a ton of coffee and is always energized.

Jamie grew up in Lexington, NC – home of the “best” barbecue and its annual festival. She earned her accounting degree from Catawba College and began her career in financial services at Lexington State Bank. After graduation, she held accounting roles with Wachovia and later moved to New York, working at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Ernst & Young.

Jamie returned to Charlotte in 1998 with Ernst & Young and went on to work at Bank of America in Finance and Bank of America Securities, earning her Series 7 and 63 licenses. After five years, she stepped away to raise her children, during which time she volunteered extensively. She joined Pine Lake Preparatory in 2014 and spent a decade there dedicated to making a positive impact on students. She later launched her own CPA practice before joining Stein in January 2026, where she is expanding her expertise in the pallet racking industry. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys time with her adult children, three dogs, and friends, as well as gardening, reading, and relaxing with a Cheerwine over pellet ice.
