Case Study
Pallet Rack System for Bakery Company
Challenge
A large bakery was scheduled for expansion to accommodate their growing business and needed help determining what type of new storage rack would be needed, while also evaluating their existing rack system to determine what could be relocated and what needed to be discarded due to damage.
A critical factor was timing. Any new materials provided would need to be delivered and installed in coordination with the new building construction, and any storage rack to be relocated must be done without disruption to their production schedule.
Solution
We determined that the majority of their existing drive-in pallet rack and selective pallet rack could be relocated; however, there was one small drive-in rack system that was damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced.
